I just stumbled across this pict and I'm blown away...


Finally, FINALLY! Someone got it right...

(according to S1 E23, Cutie Mark Chronicles)


Fluttershy: is the oldest of the mane six, having attended flight school for several years, but was still a bad flyer.


Rarity: is next having already been in pony kindergarten when she discovered gems.


Apple Jack, Pinkie, and Twilight: where not yet in school, AJ had left home for the big city, Diane was still on the rock farm, and Twily was in the middle of taking a test to see if she could get into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns (privet schools like that make you take the test a year before you join, just to see if you are the right...fit)

Rainbow Dash entered Flight school early as a flight prodigy (no age given, but we can assume she is the same age as AJ, or 1 to 2 years younger) and we know the rainboom race happened in the spring of the following year do to the butterfly's.


(so tired of everyone saying Rarity is the oldest, followed by AJ)
